The top model of M series that is Galaxy M40 now starts recieving Android 10 update.The 1.7GB updates comes with Version M405FDDU2BTB5 and very latest security patch of 1 March 2020.Along with this it also have some new features.The Android 10 update is based on One UI 2.0.Some of the new features with which update comes from is System Wide Dark Mode,Smart Replies,new privacy settings,new Google Map Gestures etc.
The updates states that after the update,some inbuilt Samsung Apps should be updated seperatly.This update is a Core update which means it dont have all the features of Android 10.It lacks in built screen recorder app,which are provided in both Realme and Redmi phones.The Galaxy M40 was launched in back 2019 and within one year it gets new Android OS.The phone was launched at Rs.19990 but now user can buy it at Rs.16999
