After the launch of Apple iPhone 5, as expected Apple has stopped the selling of its earlier model iPhone 3GS which was launched three years back. iPhone 3GS 8 GB was the starting model of iPhone before the launch of iPhone and now the starting iPhone model is iPhone 4 8GB model.
After the launch of iPhone5, It was expected that iPhone 3GS will be eradicated from the market shelves. Earlier this year Apple launched the new version of Mac OS X Mountain Lion, after which the previous version, Mac OS X Lion was eradicated from the market in a similar way.
iPhone 5 will hit the stores on 21st September in US and then simultaneously it will be available in the other countries like UK, Germany and others. It is expected that Apple iPhone 5 will be launched in India in the starting of November.
