Apple now made a close partnership with sharp technologies to produce IGZO LCD’s for its devices which are going to be launched in future. IGZO screen are especially designed for devices which are thin and compact. The IGZO screen’s would use low power consumption and give high resolution and crystal clear graphics.
The IGZO screen technology is composed of indium, Gallium, zinc which results in 330 dots per inch in resolution. The IGZO technology would definitely improve the battery backup of the devices and also it is expected that in the third generation iPad we might use IGZO screen. The third generation iPad is been worked upon by Apple recent days as earlier also Apple was searching for a dual LED design which could act as backlight for the device. It will be very exciting to see that to which extent the sharp technology affects the graphics and brightness of the devices by Apple but this could be only seen when Apple launches its next iPad.
