In 2011, Samsung Galaxy S2 was launched featuring Android 2.3 that is Gingerbread. Galaxy S2 has proved to be huge success for the company as more than 40 million handsets are been sold by the company.



Back in 2012, Galaxy S2 received the Ice cream Sandwich Update and when Jelly Bean was launched, since then the users are waiting for the Jelly Bean Update. Now it seems like the phone is about to receive the Jelly Bean update very soon.


A Samsung spokesperson connected to CNET and told that Galaxy S2 will receive the Jelly Bean update in the forth coming month of February. This seems like good news for the Galaxy S2 users.
