Its 5.2-inch screen display makes it slightly bigger than the Grand Duos whose screen is little smaller measuring 5 inches. There isn’t too much difference and it wouldn’t really matter. In simple words, it has more fine display, colors and pictures than its predecessor smartphones.

Its body has 146.8 x 75.3 x 8.9 mm (5.78 x 2.96 x 0.35 Inches) dimensions. Its size is slightly bigger that the Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos which measures 143.5 x 76.9 x 9.6 mm (5.65 x 3.03 x 0.38 Inches). Furthermore, the Grand 2 weighs a gram more than Grand Duos. It weighs 163 gram (5.75 oz) while the Samsun Galaxy Grand Duos weighs 162 grams (5.71 oz).
Processor Operating System:
Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos runs on Android 4.1.2 operating system and a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor supports this device. You can upgrade its processor to Jelly Bean 4.2. Grand 2 runs on Android 4.3 (Jellly Bean) but there is no news about option to upgrade it. However, it’s still faster program.
Camera:
Both the Grand 2 and Grand Duos feature an 8MP camera with 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus and a LED flash. The only difference in camera feature is that the Grand Duos has 2 MP front camera while the Grand 2 features 1.9 MP front camera. Both these devices can record videos with 1080p@30fps accompanied by stereo sound recording.
Memory:
The Grand Duos features 8GB as internal memory and 1 GB RAM while the Galaxy Grand 2 features 8GB of internal memory and 1.5 GB RAM. Both smartphones have microSD card which will allow you to expand their internal memory up to 64 GB.
SIM Support:
Grand Duos and Grand 2 support dual SIM and support 2G and 3G connections.
Battery:
Grand Duos runs on Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery which will give you 10 hours of talktime on 2G network and above 400 hours on standby mode. While the Grand 2 features more powerful battery – Li-Ion 2600 mAh. It can give talktime of 17 hours and 450 hours on standby mode.
