Android 2.3 ( Gingerbred ) is now getting outdated as every latest phone is coming with the support of Android 4.0 which Ice Cream Sandwich. Most of the phones which are launched these days are pre-built with the Android 4.0 as Android 4.0 has many modifications in the interface of the Android.
Recently two average range phones of Sony also got an update for the IceCream Sandwich which means that you can now get Ice Cream Sandwich if own a Sony Live with Walkman or the Sony Xperia Mini Pro.
Sony Xperia Mini Pro has already started getting the update and it is the matter of just a few days that Live With Walkman will also receive the update for the IceCream Sandwich.
However some people also install the Ice-Cream Sandwich manually but however it is not advisable as some the features eradicates from the OS when you try to install it manually.
