Sony has launched its entry Level IceCream Sandwich featuring phone Sony Xperia Tipo which is also a dual sim phone (GSM+GSM). The phone is set at an entry level price.
The phone features a 800MGhz processor with 512 MB of RAM which makes the phone fast and powerful. The phone has a good 3.2 inches TFT Capacitive Touch Screen. The phone runs on Android 4.0.3 which an updated version of IceCream Sandwich.
The phone can run on both 2G and 3G bands. The internal memory of the phone is 2.9GB which is expandable upto 32 GB through the micro SD card.
The phone has good battery which gives and standby time of about 470 hours and talk time of about 5 hours.
Sony Xperia Tipo has a good design with three touch keys and also the phone is available in three different colors.
Sony Xperia phones are famous for its camera quality and continuing this legacy, Sony Xperia Tipo also has good camera quality with a 3.15 Megapixel camera with geo tagging but the phone lacks the secondary camera.
The phone will be available in the market from the month of September and the costing of the phone will be around Rs 12,000/-.
Overall the phone will give a tough competition to the existing popular dual Sim smart phones like Samsung Galaxy Y duos and also Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos.
