The ST26i model of the Sony Xperia, now has a different name of Sony Xperia J. It is a mid range smartphone powered by Android, which is going to be launched by Sony this year. The phone is a mid range phone but definitely it has some brilliant features.
The phone features 1 Ghz processor with Single core Scorpion Processor. The will have a 4” display with the resolution of 480 X 854 pixels. The phone is supposed to be launched with the IceCream Sandwich that is Android 4.0, which is one the main attractions of the phone that though being mid range, it will feature ICS. Moreover it is not yet confirmed but still it can also get a Jelly Bean update as well.
We hope that Sony announces the phone soon with all the features as the pictures of the phone look quite good. The phone when launched should give a close competition to Samsung smart phone like Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Ace plus, Galaxy Mini 2 and Galaxy Y 2 , sine these phones have increased the sales of Samsung during the past year and have been quite popular among people.
